Vickie's Story
Just retired from over 38 years with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Have been working on fixing up our retirement home in Greenwood. Took a cruise in Australia and New Zealand in December. Got another one planned for November in the southern Caribbean. Still waiting to be bored by retirement. (2008)

p to Rome, Italy in November 2011 and picked up a cruise from their to Olympia and Athens, Greece, Ismir, Turkey, Cairo and Alexandria, Egypt. Being in Egypt during the turmoil was a little unnerving, but getting to see the Sphinx and pyramids was an experience I did not want to pass. I also enjoy volunteering with AARP doing income taxes. This year we have already scheduled vacations to South Padre Island, Texas, Clearwater, Florida, Palm Springs, California and looking to hook up with another cruise sometime during the year as well.
