Vicky's Story
I've been married to Wynn Kamen since 1975 and have two sons, Chris (born in '80) and Jonny (born in '83.) We have been living in Orange County, CA since 1976.
I went to CSUF on the 15-year plan and ended up with a MA in English. I thought I'd like to teach, but had high-anxiety stage fright every time I stood in front of a class . . . . so I was happy to temporarily retire from academia and become a cookie-baking soccer mom (& baseball, basketball, volleyball) for many years. full time as a middle school library media technician, and I love it -- love working with the students, and reading all the middle school and YA books (current fav: The Hunger Games and it's sequel, Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins.)
My other passion is gardening and arrangeing the flowers I've grown. My son Chris is getting married in our garden in October of 2010, so I'm planting now to have everything perfect by then. (As perfect as it can be with all the wild rabbits eating the grass!)
