Vicky's Story
Hi classmates.Im a retired L.P.N. i left Mpls. when i was 24 yrs. old. with my 2 children. I went to live in the appalachians in north east Tennesse where my dad retired to. We lived on a subsistance farm in the mountains and i worked at the V.A. hosp and various other nursing jobs during my 9 years there. Then to Florida for another 9 years in a small town south of Tampa.I was married for 14 years and divorced in Florida. My son who was 21 died in Florida and i lived on and off between the farm in TN. and with my daughter here in mpls.I also lived in rural Missouri for 4 years and just moved back ...Expand for more
to the cities permanently a lil over a year ago. I live with my daughter and 2 grandkids so my life is full and really good now.My 2nd x husband and i share alot of time together and are still best friends. I retired early due to emotional trauma from my sons tradjic death but my life is full with the love and happiness of my granchildren.I love the country and gardening, canoeing,hiking,and spending time with the kids.I read and like music and i love to cook and bake. I guess im still old fashioned. I like it that way.It's fun looking up old friends from school and reminiceing ? bout the old days.
