I live in Perkinston, Mississippi with my husband, Carter. We have two boys. Our youngest son, James, is 19. He is married and blessed us with a grandson, Kaden Riley, in July of 2009. Our oldest son, Derrick, (age 27) married on July 7, 2007. He and his wife gave us our first grandson, Jaxen Noah, in March of 2009. Hard to believe we are "PawPaw and Gramma" already!
The BP Oil Spill is currently making its way to the Gulf of Mississippi. I can't say that it will directly impact us financially, but I'm sure the effects will be felt one way or another. We survived Hurricane Katrina (the fourth hurricane to hit while I've lived here)with some roof damage, downed trees and 14 days of power outage. We didn't fair as badly as many other folks. The coast of Mississippi is still recovering and will be for a long time. We truly didn't need another setback!

a. The babies stay with me rather than go to daycare. They are 4 mos. apart in age and while they keep me hopping, I love being with them everyday.
My husband does antique car restorations out of a shop in our back yard. (And he r-e-a-l-l-y loves his job!) We have 5 acres of property on a deadend road out in the country that our two dogs love to run around on.
We are a church oriented family and love spending time with our friends. Carter and I teach 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School as well as manage a clothing outreach ministry we named "All God's Children". (We take donations of used items, clean and repair as necessary, and distribute to families in 3 local counties that need them. We are 100% nonprofit and marvel at how God has made it possible for us to do his work so effortlessly.) We recently were able to provide 5 large bins of clothes for an orphanage in Honduras, Central America. (I have just returned from a missions trip there.)
