Vicky's Story
Life...
I've been on my own for yrs. now, I've got a 29 yr. old daughter, a 9 yr. old grand daughter.
I'm into rock hunting, cactus growing, glass blowing and making glass jewelry, among other things.
I spent over 25 yrs. in the printing industry and had my own shop for awhile (see 'James Gang Graphics' under workplaces).
I've stayed in North County except for a 1.75 yr. 'visit' to E. Texas from '81-'83 (don't go there!!), and a brief stay in Carson City Nevada in '80.
I'm living in Ramona now... bought a house w/ my X (he's disabled) and we help each other out... it works.
At the moment there's no "special person" in my life, and though I'd really like someone to share my life with, I haven't been searching too hard. I figure it'll happen on ...Expand for more
it's own, and if it's the right person, I'll know it. It's much different being single now than it was when we were younger, and harder to meet single people than it was in the past. I'm not that hard to please, and I'm open to a wide variety of people, so I'm sure I'll meet someone at some point... hopefully before I get TOO old!
There's 2 things I've always wanted to do that I still haven't gotten the opportunity to do: 1. Race a drag car... a dream I've had since I was VERY young. My driving skills are excellent, as are my reaction times, and I know I'd be good at it even at my "old age". 2. Learning how to fly... something my father did for many years before I was born, and something I know I would enjoy doing... who knows... maybe someday.
