Victoria (Vicky)'s Story

It has been fun to be in touch with some high school classmates! My first career was interpreting between Deaf and hearing people in all kinds of settings, from medical and legal, to business and educational. I began to slowly leave that field as, my own health challenges led me to a career change toward learning more about health and wellness. I have been in the health field for over 30 years with a private practice in movement education and body awareness. I love working with people to help them move easier in daily life who come with a wide range of health challenges from chronic and acute pain, to neurological problems, accident recovery, to people wanting to age with more ease and grace. It is also satisfying to help folks to improve their overall wellbeing. And now, growing a business at home, I get to help people long distance as well as locally, both to lose weight and stay healthy. Working in a great growth company in these tough economic times has been a great gift to us all. It is great to work from home in the foothills of the mountains when I am not at my private practice in Northampton, MA. My kids are now 17 and 20 and doing great in school and with friends and activities. My son is skilled at and has fun with friends playing Ultimate Frisbee and is studying business. My daughter plans to apply for scholarships to college playing LaCrosse to possibly study teaching French and to go into Interior Design/Architecture as well. It is so pleasurable and satisfying to see then play sports (perhaps even more so when none were available to women in high school in our day). Remember that imbalance of opportunities? I count my blessings everyday for living in the ...Expand for more
beautiful countryside of New England. My 11 year old dog, Lakota, loves going for walks so much that she jumps and bounces like a puppy when she knows we are embarking on a walk in the field, in the woods, or on the country road. She is so youthful and healthy partly cuz I give her some of the antiaging routine daily that has changed my life and helps me look and feel younger, too! (This has changed so many people's lives in a simple and powerful way, contact me if you are curious.) Now, our newest and very sophisticated, also, scientifically-backed product, is helping so many of us lose inches and those stubborn pounds in a VERY healthy, quick and sustainable way. With newly gained healthy strength and stamina, I am thrilled to be learning Salsa dancing... and also, am just almost too happy to return to an activity from age 4: hula hooping! Can you believe it? Laughing. Actually, now with music and more moves, it is called "hoop dancing"! So, this makes sense to those of you who might remember my fire baton twirling in high school, yes? After too many years of chronic pain from a 2 story fall as a child, it has been great to have 5 1/2 pain free years from drinking the juice we market and to be able to dance and play again! ... and, to be able to walk daily without repercussions of extra pain. For this, I am most grateful. Payson, my younger brother, has also done so well in the cowboy mounted shooting arena. He made world and national champion some years ago... it was a great gift to my father to see Payson's runs on the world champion video as my dad was passing. Would love to hear from schoolmates, not just grads of '72. I wish you wellness and blessings, Victoria
