Victor's Story
Life
After graduation in 1969, I attended the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point NY. I sailed in the American Merchant Marine for 12 years, having attained the position of Master Mariner in 1979. I traveled the world many times over including stops in Vietnam in 1971.
I augmented my Merchant Marine career with the US Naval Reserve. I married Stephanie in 1974. We have two children, Albert born 1979 and Jessica in 1988. In 1984 I stopped my sea-going career and came ashore to work for a ship...Expand for more
ping company in New York City. In 1995, I joined Atlantic Richfield as their VP of Marine Operations. We lived in Los Angeles from 1995-2000 and moved back to the East Coast after ARCO was purchased by British Petroleum. I am currently living on Amelia Island about 30 miles north of Jacksonville, FL. and work with Crowley Maritime Corp.
I enjoyed my years at San Rafael High School and wouldn't trade my high school years for anything. Let's stay forever young and remember those good times!
