Victoria's Story
It's now 56 Years since we all graduated. and life is absolutely wonderful,even though it didn't turn out as planned. I retired on Jan 6, 2006, my 62nd birthday! Never thought I could do it that early. My 32+ year career as a financial services and insurance/investment advisor was not only my path to success, it also allowed me to help others find their path to financial security.. . I play golf, am an amateur photographer, and enjoy crafts-the artistic side finally got to come out of the closet. as allowed me to give back - I am Founder of RRUFF - a non-profit I established in 2009 to build a dog park in Rocklin.. We opened in 2011. Our mission has expanded and we now spend our energy and resources fundraising to provide 6 month service dog training classes to disabled American Veterans with PTSD and other invisible disabilities. We have raised over $150,000 and awarded over 25 scholarships. I am an 8 year breast cancer survivor, cherishing every moment life has to offer. Carpe Diem has taken on a very special meaning. I am blessed beyond belief with a life filled with love, good friends, wonderful family, too many memories to count and so much more.
