Victoria's Story
It's hard to believe all the years that have passed...but I figure we all have that sensation that time flies. I have lived in St. Louis since 1981, moving here to "lose" my east coast accent and pursue a career in radio. I have worked in broadcasting since 1982, as a news and sports reporter, anchor and talk show host. It's been a blast.
i have had the chance to cover everything from political conventions, elections, and criminal trials, to Pope John Paul's visit to St. Louis as well as the Rams Super Bowl championship season, the Cardinals World Series championship and the Mark McGwire-Sammy Sosa home run race in the late 1990's. Even though "steroids" has taken the shine off the Big Mac era, at the time it was a most incredible story to cover.

iate events in the area and am currently branching out to produce radio programming and of course hope it is "content" that stations would love to purchase :-)
my mom, who turned 90 in May, lives in an apartment right beneath mine....she has lived here off and on since 1994 and i love it. she feels 90 but her wit is still sharp and we enjoy many laughs. we hope to get back to Hillsdale in the next few months.
my sisters are all hanging in there...my siblings, including my late brother, have blessed me with 15 nieces and nephews and 5 "greats".
so family, friends, and good food are the main ingredients in my life's recipe....and it's pretty tasty.
i think of the old days fondly and am glad i grew up in the community i did. you were all a part of it and I hope this message finds most of us healthy and happy.
