Vincent's Story

I went to Adirondack Community College in Queensbury N.Y. outside of Saratoga NY, after high school . I have been living in this region ever since that time. I received my teaching license from Plattsburg and the State of New York.I worked for 10 yrs at The HYDE COLLECTION ART MUSEUM in Glens Falls N.Y. before going on to where I now have been working for the past 11yrs. I am employed by NEW YORK STATE with THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS as a vocational teacher to incarcerated felons . now have lived for the past 3 years , and we love it !!!! My interest in the Civil War led me to become a re-enactor in 1990 as a union soldier where I participated in the making of the movie Gettysburg. Best time of my life, as the Pickett's charge seen which I was involved in took nine days to film. I've been involved in this hobby ever since then, and have been on mostly all the civil war battle sites. I have been for the last 2 years a member of the Sons Of The Union Veterans, Willard Camp 154 Albany New York, where I just received the '' Legion of Merit Award''. Favorite saying I live by, '' Failure is never an option'' and "A gentlemen's honor is most important". I enjoy all music except "Rap" and we mostly listen to New Age.
