Violet's Story
My maiden name was Violet Nott. I married Max Ryan in 1948. I then enrolled as Violet Nott Ryan for my senior year. Max died in 1974.
I still live within a mile of Leuzinger High School. I have lived in my home for 41 years.
I have two children. Both attended Leuzinger; son, Mike Ryan, class of 1969,and daughter, Linda Ryan Nicoll, class of 1976,
I was a beauty shop operator. Then I worked at Bank of America, in an auto loan center, I retired from there in 1986. Then I worked for a Guard Company, as an office manager for over four years.
Then I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis(MS). It is a progressive disease. Now my legs are not weight bearing and I am confined to a power chair.
I have a Care-giver that lives with me, she takes very good care of me.

I try to keep 'up-beat', I cannot write but I use the computer to write e-mail or snail mail letters. And I still read novels, and I work jig-saw puzzles, and watch some TV programs.
I have seven grandchildren. And I have ten (another to be born in July)
great-grandchildren.
My family all live in the South Bay area, so I get to see them often.
My son and daughter help me with paper work, and whatever other help that I need.

Now in the year 2016, Not very much difference in my health. My Multiple Sclerosis is slowly claiming my body and now at the age of 85 I have slowed mentally as well as physically.
I now have an email letter connection with Naomi Sutton - Eddy, We have resumed our friendship through Classmates, this makes me very happy.
