Virgil's Story
I wish I could say I won the Nobel Prize and sailed the world in a 15-foot skiff, but I I've done neither.
My life has been fairly prosaic since SSHS.
Left UCLA end of 1959. Served in the Army as an intel analyst. I hold 3 service medals and a certificate of appreciation from the Dept of Defense.
I married Ellen Corbett, SSHS class of 1958. We produced 2 kids, boy & and girl. She passed away in 1999 after 37 yrs of marriage. Ellen was a California Mentor Teacher when she died. A Mentor Teacher in California is a teacher's teacher.

ÃÂ Jeanne'ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂs grand kids. Between the two of us we have 7 grand kids & 3 great-grand kids. Jeanne is a retired teacher.
I worked for several Fortune 500 companies, mostly in the computer industry.
When I retired I wrote a murder mystery that got published after 3 yrs of trying.

Jeanne and I Iive in a retirement community in Southern California, 2.5 hours each city from Las Vegas and Laughlin NV. Also 90 miles from Santa Anita Racetrack so one might guess what we do for fun.
