Virginia's Story
I think the one thing that would surprise everyone at my High School reunion is that I have gained weight!!! I mean really, isn't that the first thing that someone says, it's not, how are you, or what have you been up to? It is always, boy did you gain weight, I usually respond by saying "really? Oh my God, I hadn't noticed, I don't have any mirrors in my house so, How would I have known?" Hahahahaha, that usually embarrasses them, and they change the subject real fast!! hahahahaha
I really can't say that I have a Teacher that I would like to see again, I loved High School and got along with all of my Teachers, but....it has been a long time since I have been in school, and I can't friggin remember any Teachers!!! hehehehe
I remember freshmen General Math, my Teacher was Mr Todd, and we all thought him to be somewhat of a nerd, well I had a small squirt gun and I had it filled with water and I showed it to one of my fellow students and he dared me to squirt Mr Todd, and of course I had a reputation to uphold and so when Mr Todd gave us our assignment, he always walked past our desks, and as he passed my desk, I squirted him in the buttock!!! He didn't even feel it!!! (Dad if you read this, I'm sorry) hehehehe
I don't know what ever happened to my first crush, but I do remember that he didn't even know that I existed!!! But I had such a great time just looking at him everyday, we had one class together and I looked forward to that class all day, just seeing him really made my day!!! (And NO, I won't reveal his name) hahahaha
I sincerely hope that old friends remember me to be a fun and honest person, I never betrayed any of my friends nor did they ever betray me, I hope that they remember how much fun we had together and I want them all to know that I still have those same qualities and I still have that same loud and piercing laugh which I use on a daily basis!! hehehe
To be truly happy I would be exactly where I am today, married to the same man, spending time with my girls I would not change a thing, except.....I would be sharing my happiness with my Sister Rachel who left us on July 27, 1982, and... If only I could still fit into my Wedding dress, and a pair of painter's pants that I have hanging in my closet. That is my goal for this year, most of us will be turning 49 this year and dangit, I am going to Celebrate my birthday in those painter's pants if it kills me!!!! I have already lost 22 pounds and baby, I am on my way!!! Woohoo Joliet look out, I got a new attit...Expand for more

Honestly, I think that the only thing that has been a big surprise to me is that I became a Grandmother!! My daughter was only 16 at the time, and I truly believed that we had a very open relationship, I talked to her about sex til I was blue in the face, she knew where I stood about that and I honestly believed that she could be trusted, we raised both our girls to be open and honest and when she told me that she was pregnant, my whole world changed, don't get me wrong, I LOVE NATALIE, I just didn't like the way that she was brought into this world.
If I had one thing that I could do over, it would be to have furthered my education before I took that walk down the aisle, I would still have married my husband (if he would have me) but I would have gone to Texas, gotten an education, and then married.
Honestly, I didn't have very many jobs, and the ones that I did have were not weird!! Some of the co-workers were weird, but not the jobs!!! hehehe
Actually, I am a creature of habit, I still live in the old neighborhood, but...we are currently looking for land, we would like to build a house on our own land where we can house our own horses!!! We now have 2 female quarterhorses and a male pony that loves to "dance", as soon as he hears music, he starts to dance, it is really amazing to see him do that, heck he has better moves than I do, well not really, for those of you that really know me, know that I can bust a move, even with the extra weight, this girl can really get down, every now and then I bring out my disco records and play them, and man, let me tell you, I am goooooodddd!!! John Travolta, move over cuz Ginny has her own Night Fever!!!!!
And come March 6 2009, we will be welcoming another Grandchild into our family, this time we are expecting a Grandson and everyone in my family are so excited, my Husband especially, he is the only "Boy" in my immediate family and he is looking forward to finally having a "Boy" that he says he can pass on his talents to. We both Love Natalie very much, but there is something special about our daughter having a Son that just takes our breath away!!! We can hardly wait!!! My daughter and I are going back and forth about the name, she wants to name her son Lorenzo and I want Sebastian, but she keeps calling him Lorenzo, so I guess that is what they will bless him with, as long as he looks like Lorenzo Lamas, that is cool with me, cuz that man is Hot hot hot, I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers!!!!!
