Virginia's Story
After fulfilling my dream of being a Navy officer (I reached the rank of Commander, USNR), I got out of the Navy, got married to a wonderful man, and settled down in northern VA. I use my Master's degree in Meteorology and Oceanography by being the contractor "geospatial lead" for the Army's Future Combat System development. I always wanted piles and piles of children (I have twelve siblings), but God had other plans for me and for us...so I got involved in animal rescue and am active in A Forever Home. decade of the '90s. Although I didn't win, there are many pro-life politicians in Virginia who gained by my candidacy. After that, I got involved in animal rescue and helped shut down a phony rescue (a business masquerading as a 501(c)(3)...). The person who helped me shut down that rescue was also the one who helped ensure Michael Vick got arrested and held accountable for the things he did to those innocent pit bull dogs. Now I just spend lots of my free time training my four rescued dogs...three are doing dog agility and I will begin competing my "alpha" this summer. I am active in my parish and carry out my love of music as part of the bell choir. I'm hoping we will play for Corpus Christi!
