Virginia's Story
Graduated St. John's Univ. in Queens as a Pharmacist in 1970 (5 yr. program). Worked in community and nursing home pharmacies while getting a Master's in Pharm. from SJU. Went to Grad School at Univ. of AZ in Tuscon. Appointed to faculty at St. John's in 1977 while continuing my education receiving another Master's and Ph.D. in Psych from CUNY Grad School. aho as Associate Dean of Pharmacy at Idaho State Univ. in Pocatello. I was in a terrible car accident in 1998 in Montana which left me totally disabled. Living my life simply now after retiring from Academia. I volunteer my time as Idaho's State Ombudsman for Traumatic Brain Injury. My Psych degrees help me help others with TBI.
I could not come to the 2015 Reunion because I had to undergo surgery in October - hence, I missed the festivities and renewing old friendships.
