Virginia's Story

Wow fifty years out of high school a lot of things can go on. After high school I really got into working out. I love it and at times I use to workout twice a day. Got into many sports like rachetball, tennis, softball, running and swimming. Worked for private industry then went into the government . That's where I met my husband. Got married in 1978 and have been married for 40 years. I have two kids, a boy and a girl. I was a stay at home mom when they were small but they went into teaching nursery school which was my favorite job.. I loved kids and wish I had more. In 2000 I went back ...Expand for more
into the workforce working front desk at a gym. Then went to a gym in Potomac and worked with the aerobic director. That was a blast. In 2007 I started working at emergency medicine in the billing department and I am still there. Have learn a lot about different insurance and my first experience being on a computer. I have learn a lot about teckie stuff and I am the IT person for my team.. planning on retiring next year which I will probably spend a lot of time at my gym and being with friends. I welcome 70 years o,d because it took me a long time to get there and I am happy with my life.

In support of 2020 seniors I am sharing my senior picture - Bladensburg Senior high school class of 1968.
This is the path I took on my 3 week vacation. I covered over 3,000 miles and about 8 countries. Started in London and ended in Paris. Oh what miles I covered. Haha
This was taken at Monte Carlo where we played the slot machines. That was awesome
I want to thank all the people who wished me a happy birthday today. Turning 70 is not to bad as long as you keep your sense of humor about life and enjoy yourself. I am very lucky to have so many special people in my life
