Ginger's Story
Hello, everyone,
I am late to the game, but here, and hopeful to reconnect with high school friends.
After RMHS, I went to Bridgewater State, and then on to Boston University for my master's degree in Social Work. I married Rik Ketschke in 1981 and have remained happily married for nearly 34 years. Rik and I moved to Fairhope, Alabama in 1982 where our first child, Rhett, was born. I was the director of Social Work at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope for five years.
We moved north in 1987 to Brentwood, Tennessee (just south of Nashville). I was the Director of the Social Work department at Nashville Memorial Hospital for 7 years, and then accepted a position at Vanderbilt University Medical Center's department of Social Work, where I have been for 16 years.

time, daughter Julia was born, and then our younger son, Max, making all our children southern born and raised. Rhett is a Navy flight surgeon in Pensacola. He and his wife, Julie, are expecting our first grandchild, Stella Rose, on May 10th.
Daughter Julia is a critical care nurse at Vanderbilt, but alas works nights, and we are ships that pass in the night, for now. Youngest son Max is a sophomore at the University of Tennessee and plans to follow his brother's path to medical school.
Rik and I love the South but speak often of my life in Reading. I rarely have any info or updates from classmates. I attend reunions when I hear about them, which isn't always. I have lots of memories of RMHS, and I still have my yearbook. Would love to hear from you.
