I never gave too much thought as to what I wanted to do after I got out of school. I was always artisticly talented and I do some creative work in my spare time. While I was in school, I was basically a loner. I did not go out of my way to make friends but, I was a very loyal friend to the ones I had. I still have a tendency to be a loner but, not like I was then as the jobs that I have had required me to be outgoing. I was a department manager for a creditor life and accident company for many years in Washington, DC. Then I relocated to the SW Virginia/East Tennessee area. I became a social worker for a good number of years before I decided that was not for me. So, I took a giant leap to the blue collar industry. I attended a commercial driving academy and have had my CDL's since June, 1997. I worked for several companies before I got my current job. I work for one of the largest freight transportation companies in the industry. It's not really a difficult job but, it can be very stressful. It has really enabled me to become a better and safer driver.
