20 Sep 2018 - Update, we now have 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and one more great-grandchild on the way. No longer on the Iowa City Iowa Stake High Council of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Now teaching early morning Seminary (M-F 6am) for the Muscatine Ward high school kids. Had a really good time at our 50th class reunion this year. It was a joy to serve on the committee with the other classmates. 27 Apr 2017 - Father passed away. Mom still in Lutheran Living and visit her every day:) Love and miss Virginia every single day:) 20 Mar 2017 - On 50th reunion committee. One more great-grandchild on the way. Sure do miss her. Dec 2015 - Now have 14 grandkids and 2 great-grandkids. Moved back to Muscatine September of 2015 to help take care of aging parents, love 'em. Life has been good to Virginia and I, not always easy, but good. 1967-1968 worked at Danny's Sales n Service. As a Senior only needed two classes to finish school. Went to school in the morning and worked at Danny's in the afternoon. Graduated MHS at the age of 17. Had a job offer from Stanley Engineering but ...Expand for more
