Life A wonderful surprise in 2007... My book won a "Golden Quill Award," presented by the American Authors Association in November. As a result I am scheduled to meet with Congressman Dan Lungren, he is in favor of adult stem cell research and wants to talk to me about my book. Now that is news!!! The age old question, where has the time gone? Each of us have been living our lives in a variety of ways. I have been and always will be a blue collar worker, although I only work part time now! My big deal in life besides having my children has been surviving cancer, twice. I had Hodgkin's lymphoma of all things and the second time around I had to have a stem cell transplant inorder to kill the cancer. I was fortunate and able to use my own stem cells for this process, something few people know is possible.
