Virginia (Ginny)'s Story
Life
Went to work right after graduation. Had a few interesting jobs before a couple short stints in business school and getting my EMT certification, and then moving to the mountains and working for Keystone Resort for several years. Met my ex-husband there through the volunteer fire department and wound up moving to Fort Collins for several years while he finished his degree in construction management. Then we hit the road and moved all over for 12 years; mostly the east coast and south. Once we finally got back here to Colorado in 2000, I vowed not to move again. Other places are nice to visit and have beautiful scenery, but no place compares to Colorado.

y are becoming teenagers, I have found a new appreciation for my parents and feel a need to call them on a regular basis to apologize for my rude behavior as a youngster and to thank them for letting me live this long...
Although I recently quit working from home, I still stay way too busy volunteering my time to Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and any other organization that needs a volunteer -- anything to keep from cleaning house.
With the big "5-0" coming up faster than I would like, I still have yet to decide what I want to do when I grow up. I have had to rethink my views on aging quite a bit and thoroughly believe it is a state of mind. I used to think 50 was old, but now that I am there, I feel I have a lot to finish and even to start, and refuse to get old.
