Virginia's Story
Life
It is March 2009, still living at Fort Gordon Georgia with Chuck and our six-pack, and will celebrate my 37th year soon! Chuck is still an instructor weighing the odds of a change in scenery, and I am still working hard with Army Families. I still have a big mouth and do a lot of advocating for military families and tehir issues. A lot of travel is involved in my job and I get to sit and chat with some pretty important people. We bought a home last May just outside of Augusta, and we will send our oldest off to college this year- UGH! The weather here is beautiful and I am forever outside working on the yard, gardening and creating...Expand for more
new landscapes. An occasional poker game, a lot of bonfires and even more volunteering with teh Army.
If you ever have the opportunity to volunteer, especially to support Soldiers and their Families, please do not hesitate to make a difference!
My favorite color is still Red, my eyes are still Hazel, my hair color got darker with each child...and I found my first grey...I still love dogs, I am always looking to connect with old friends, and hope that someday, I will even get the chance to meet up with some. If ever visiting the area, drop me a line. I can always be found through the Army's email portal.
God Bless, and God Speed!
