Vivienne's Story
Hi there!
Teaching Computer Science Classes during the daytime in a public high school, and teaching evening classes on site, and online at the local community college takes up most of my life.
You could describe me as a mom having an empty nest, but one that is enjoying an exciting, satisfying career.
My son, Edward, is a Lt. Colonel in the Air Force. My daughter, Lorraine, works for Tommy Hilfiger in another state.
I rarely see my grandsons as they live presently in Colorado: Will is 9, Noah is 8, and Zeke is 4. They are extremely energetic, full of endless stamina, curiosity, mischief, and fun.
My home is located in Maryland, about an hour from Washington, D.C. I share it wit...Expand for more
h Zeus and Dionysus, two very spoiled, plump, felines. Then there are the fish tank residents: one fancy catfish, and a golden apple snail.
My world is quite calm these days. I reflect on my present age and wonder where all the years went. Somehow I find that surprising. In my mind's eye I still picture myself about 30 years old. However, the mirror reminds me that the golden years are quickly approaching.
I do question what happened to many of my high school classmates? And, I think it would be interesting to converse with some--to compare and contrast the journeys we've taken, where we are now, and where we have been.
