College
Attended Humboldt State University from 1984 to 1990 after working as a restaurant cook for a few years in the Bay Area. Decided that I didn't want to flip things on a grill for much longer. Worked my way through college as a cook and janitor and as few student loans as I could get away with. Got a degree in Applied Mathematics with emphasis in Computer Science.

se I walked out of the interview. Worked at small companies there for a while doing computer operations and programming and started a little computer consulting side business. Opportunity came to relocate back to the Bay Area and I took it. Continued to work for smaller companies until a chance chowed up to work for a major software vendor. I've been working for them ever since, but for a side trip into consulting during the dot-com boom. Now work as a Business Systems Architect and Systems programmer.
