Priscilla's Story
I just read June Wallace's story and we were always meant to outdo each other. Life after Sunnyvale... I worked in the world of electronics (Intel) for several years--then transferred to Albuquerque NM for almost 20 years, where I went into real estate sales. In 2001 I moved to Denver where I met my current husband. And just to outdo my little sister I not only took the motorcycle riding class and got my license--I bought a Harley. m on my third one--this time it's a Heritage Classic 2004. I love riding and we take at least one long trip every year--the farthest to date was Puerto Penasco (aka Rocky Point) Mexico from Denver.
I miss the weather in California, but not the traffic or the prices. My son, his wife and 2 grandkids live in Los Gatos, so I visit as often as I can. Currently I am still doing real estate--part time and enjoying semi-retirement the rest of the time.
