Wallace's Story
Life
In the summer after graduation from LHS, my family moved our farm to Stratham, New Hampshire. College at Rochester (NY) Institute of Technology majoring in photographic illustration graduating with BFA degree in 1966. During the 1960s, I also was the NH delegate to Venezuela in IFYE USA, worked summer jobs at: NE Color Research, Somerville, MA, the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC, and New Holland Agriculture, New Holland, PA. In the 1960s, I also worked at the Stuart Farm, Stratham, NH, and was a trainee at the Peace Corp camp near Arecibo, PR. I moved to Plymouth, New Hampshire from Stratham, New Hampshire in 1968. My wife and I lived in Plymouth continuously until 2015 when we moved back to Stratham, New Hampshire.

Served in roles of Media Specialist, Manager of Media Services, and Information Technologist. Retired from PSU in December 2005 after 37 years of service.
In my spare time, I was active for years in community access, cable television, a municipal service in Plymouth.
Married Marlene Scamman in 1969. We have 2 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, & 2 grandsons. Both sons are lawyers. One is in private practice in Manchester, NH and while the other served as a JAG officer in the US Air Force. The military son is now HR director of civilian workers at the Portsmouth (NH/ME) Naval Shipyard while continuing his JAG work with the New Hampshire Army National Guard.
In Stratham, New Hampshire, I am active as a member of the Stratham Heritage Commission, a municipal board.
