Walt's Story
Life
It's such a long story. There's no point in going into all of it. I've been very blessed. This is especially true when you consider how it all started.
College
The college opportunity didn't come for me until later than most. All of the undergraduate work I did was at Austin Community College and I didn't start on it until I was 30. Fortuntately for me, this led to other opportunities. For 3 years I attended ACC w...Expand for more
hile working full time as a Captain in the Austin Fire Department. That job, and an understanding family, allowed me to live out a dream.
Workplace
Retired from the Austin Fire Department as a Captain back in 1994. From there I went to Medical School and became an M.D. Internship in Jackson Ms. and residency at Scott & White. In the words of the esteemed Joe Walsh, "Life's been good to me so far."
