Walter's Story

Graduated from Carolina in 1971 and moved to Nashville to be a songwriter. Had a country hit in the late 1980s with Kathy Mattea's "Life as We Knew It." In the meantime I wrote 10 books...Expand for more
, most of them on vintage guitars and guitar companies. For the last 13 years I've been the mandola player in the Nashville Mandolin Ensemble. Current day job is managing Gruhn Guitars.
