Walter's Story
Just found this site today. I'm excited to see so many people I knew. I split my time between New Jersey and South Carolina. I'm still doing well and enjoy playing golf. That's it for now. I'm looking forward to talking to many of you.
Okay a little about me. After Port
Richmond, I went to S.I.C.C. eventually graduating in 1970. Went mostly at night. I took a job at U.S Lines in Manhattan. Worked there for 18 years then moved on...Expand for more
to work for a company named Trans Freight Lines. Trans Freight merged/bought out a few companies and changed names a couple of times. In the end we were bought out by a company Maersk Lines. Maersk is the largest steamship company in the world. After 25 years between them and TFL I decided to retire. Fortunately I picked the right business and was able to travel around the world visiting many of our port offices over the years.
