Walter (Neil)'s Story
Last 47 yrs.
Here we go ! After Rich East ,went to NIU for 2 yrs. Flunked out , but I had a really good time. Then in late 66 Uncle Sam came a callin' Didn't really want my ass in the grass (Nam) so I enlisted in the Army SECURITY agency for 4 yrs. ASA is a section of Army Intelligence. And we all know thats an oxy-moron , noit sure about the spelling but ypu know what I mean. Spent a year in Thailand, and no not Bangkok , Udorn , 30 miles south of the Laotian border, its not nearly as civilized as the former. Anyway I digress. 2 yrs on Okinawa , which was an e-ticket next to Thailand . Got out in 1970 with a few of my brain cells in tact. Went back to work for the railroad in Dolton, Il , Got married (1st time) in 73 and divorced in 76 . I've had bowel movements that lasted longer !!! cessarily smarter though cause she married me , stayed around Chicago until 1984 , we both worked for the railroad do off went to Little Rock, Ar to work there . My new wife had a daughter by previous, and we had one of our own in 1988 , I wanted to name her Caitlin Bacardi Donahue , cause thats what she was drinking the night, well you get the picture, anywoo my spouse didn't care for that at all. In 1990 we transferred again to Omaha , Ne where the men are men and the sheep are nervious. I retired in 2005 . My bride is still working and never lets me forget as she gets up in the morning and gives me a shot in the ribs !!! But i have 9 years on her, hence iI retired first. I like to fish , go to football games, and Creighton basket ball games and Oh yeah I'm pretty good at drinking beer !!!! Well thats all folks !!!!!
