Wanda's Story
Hi, Jim Kemp(class of 77) and I got married in 1980 we had 2 wonderful sons Christopher and Kevin Jim was in the Navy for 10 years so we did a lot of moving early on. Then we settled in the Antelope Valley and Jim and my brother Terry(class of 78) worked together at EMP in Chatsworth, ca. I ran a liscensed Day care out of our house in Quartz Hill when my boys were young.Then we spent sometime in Arizona. The boys were older then so I worked out of the house eventually ending up working at the hospital doing the Insurance billing for the emergency room patience. Then we couldn't stay away and we moved back to the area. We lived in Thousand Oaks then. Our Youngest son graduated from Thousand Oaks High. Well in 2000 I was diagnoised with Epilepsy. I have partial complex seizures. I was in Cedar's Sinai for a week and they said I had 23 seizures both while awake and a sleep. I wasn'...Expand for more
t a canidate for brain surgery because both my frontal lobes were scared, have no ideal why. So as of 2000 I can no longer drive or work. It has been very hard. We had my mom and dad move in with us because they were needing someone to help take care of them every now and then and I needed someone at home with me during the day so Jim and my boys wouldn't worry about me.
So now we are living in Moorpark, Ca. Jim is working Oxnard. My youngest son Kevin is in the Navy. My son Christopher is doing several different jobs. My mom is still with us but we lost my dad last May. My little sister and her family are living in Simi Valley, Ca. My Brother and his family are living in Simi Valley, Ca. So we are all living pretty close to each other and we like that. So I spend alot of time on the computer and love to hear from old friends. Well that's my story and I am sticking to it.
