I recently started thinking about this year being 50 years since I graduated and was wondering if there would be a celebration for it. We had around 250 students graduate that year (the population in Grundy was much larger then). I would love to know as much as I could about where everyone is. I met Walter Schmidt at the Grundy Baptist Church in 1970. He came to Grundy from California. We lived for 23 years in Virginia and then we moved to Florida for my his job. I came here brokenhearted because I felt my life was just the way I wanted it in Va. I wasn't sure I could find the same circumstances here. But God had some pleasant surprises for me. I already had my bachelor's degree (in Psychology) from Liberty University before we moved and after a year of wondering around looking for employment I found I could become an educational therapist by getting training from an organization whose headquarters was in Norfolk Va.
