Hello Fellow Classmates - I left the Memphis area several times but it like there is a big rubber band that keeps pulling me back. Here is my story: After graduation I went to Ole Miss on a Cross-Country and Track scholarship, got a civil engineering degree, received a ROTC commission as a Combat Engineer, finished my tour, moved to New Orleans to work for Texaco, was a general's aide in a reserve unit there until I went to work for an oilfield contractor in Dubai (back when Dubai was still a village). I survived the Iran Hostage Crisis and the Iraq/Iran war, came back to Frayser and opened Bogart's Yogurt, a soft serve yogurt store at Frayser Blvd and Overton Crossing. Owning your own store wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be so I sold out and became the City Engineer for West Memphis. That was a great job but then Time Warner offered me a position and, because all employees got free cable, I took the job and moved to Memphis.
