Judy's Story
I lived in Torrejon apts from '68-'72. Best years of my life!
I loved living at Torrejon Apts. Got to hike to the Mesa all the time and walk to the village. Walk to the base.
My now hubby then boyfriend Wayne Watson and I would take the train to Madrid and hang out all day. Awesome times.
I didn't know it then but I loved the outdoors. Always hiking and walking. Exploring new places. My parents never put restrictions on us as to what time we had to be home. My dad wanted my sister and I to have fun and enjoy. and we did.
My dad took 30 days leave every summer and we traveled all over. What a blast!

my dad got stationed in Utah. It was a culture shock. After going to a small high school and seeing the same people every day all day what a change to go to a bigger school and not see the same person twice. There were other changes that were so difficult to adjust to. I had my Jr and senior year to do in Utah.
I never ever thought I would be back in Utah again. But here we are. But this time I got interested in Photography and it opened up a whole new world to me. I now see Utah as a beautiful state with lots of places to go to and photograph. Right in our own backyard so to speak.
