One of Wayne's favorite quotes is: "Any people, anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable, a most sacred right, a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world" - Abraham Lincoln U.S. Congress in 1848. "The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed, and hence clamorous to be led to safety, by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. -H.L. Mencken. "Paper is poverty, .... it is only the ghost of money, and not money itself." -- Thomas Jefferson in 1788. was not caused by any insurrectionary spirit nor can it be termed rebellion, for our construction of the Constitution under which we lived and acted was the same from its adoption and for eighty years we have been taught and educated by the founders of the Republic and their written declaration which controlled our consciences and actions." -- General Robert E. Lee, CSA "We may be very quiet. But we are everywhere, we cantankerous, contrarian members of the Leave Me Alone Coalition -Claire Wolfe. This is what Robert E. Lee thought about it: "So far from engaging in a war to perpetuate slavery, I am rejoiced that Slavery is abolished. I believe it will be greatly for the interest of the South. So fully am I satisfied of this that I would have cheerfully lost all that I have lost by the war, and have suffered all that I have suffered to have this object attained.". "Multiculturalism's goal is not to teach about other cultures, but to promote--by means of distortions and half-truths--the notion that non-Western cultures are as good as, if not better than, Western culture. Far from 'broadening' the curriculum, what multiculturalism seeks is to diminish the value of Western culture in the minds of students. But, given all the facts, the objective superiority of Western culture is apparent, so multiculturalists must artificially elevate other cultures and depreciate the West." - Elan Journo of the Ayn Rand Institute. "A liberal is a man who will give away everything he doesn't own" - Frank Dane. "Good government generally begins in the family, and if the moral character of a people once degenerate, their political character must soon follow - Elias Boudinot".
