Life
Well it's been a long dance ... from New Jersey to Boca Raton, Florida, to Atlanta, Georgia, and now here in southwest Michigan. But it's been a good dance. I have a great son and daughter and a few good dogs. Work has been good. I left AT&T after a lot of years to serve as Vice President of the American Kennel Club in New York City for 6 years, worked on Wall Street for two years after that, then moved out here to Michigan to serve as President and now owner of the United Kennel Club, a 102 year-old international dog registry. For the past twelve years, I've also been involved in television as a business. I've done a lot of script writing for Discovery and have appeared on The Today Show, CBS This Morning, Good Morning America, and CNN. I've been the commentator for dog shows on ESPN, CBS Sports and Animal Planet, produced a series for Discovery and Animal Planet, and worked as a technical advisor for a series on Animal Pl...Expand for more
anet. I have been hosting a series of dog shows with Ronald Reagan, Jr. in America on Animal Planet and I host the Crufts Dog Show from England on the BBC with Gabby Roslin and Miss America 1993, Leanza Cornett. (That's us in the pic with our producer with whiskers, Jim Casey) After some free lance work in Great Britain, I became an Irish citizen too. Michigan has been a great central location and a great place to raise kids. I work out of a studio in LA and New York so we get back east regularly. Still writing songs and playing the guitar some. All of this work-world stuff has finally given me more time to get back chasing a few more dreams. I recently graduated from the Galloup Scholl of Lutherie where I learned to make handmade guitars the old school way. I've made a few acoustics and an electric and have a few more designs in the works. The pics are of my last acoustic in flamed Michigan maple. Much more fun than real work.
