Wayne's Story
Life
For those who REMEMBER ME,
And Those who don't..I left High School in "1968", And served a tour in The United States Marine Corp. As you can see by my Old Photo, During the Vietnam War, (DOUBLE LEFT CLICK ON MY PHOTO TO ENLARGE) I was Honorably Discharged
in "1971", with two Good Conduct Awards,
(can you believe it) in addition to a few other Campaign Metals. When I was Discharged I had the Rank of a Senior N.C.O."Non-Commissioned Officer"(E-4)
I had the opportunity when I returned
from overseas, to play Football for the U.S.M.C. Regimental Team in California,
and earned an M.V.P.that year.. While still in the Corp, I obtained my G.E.D. and received credits for two semesters of College Courses...At the time I stood back and laughed, because I had already been in 13 different Countries, I had my High School Diploma,Two semesters of College, played a Superior Caliber than High School Football, and not to forget a Life Challenging Experience, never to be forgotten, All; before my High School Class even Graduated!!!... although it was the best thing that could ever happen TO ME... "I TRULY MISSED ALL MY FRIENDS", Graduation, Dating, and everthing that I could ...Expand for more
only imagine everyone was doing!!! There were more than a few nights while in the bush, that I often wondered if ANYONE gave thought where Wayne's at, or what he's doing. I gess the old concept of, OUT OF SIGHT OUT OF MINE is true...Well; to all that remember my Leather Coat, High Roll Shirts, Italian knits, Herringbone, & Shark Skin Pants, along with the Feather
Weight Shoes to slide down the Hallways.
I wish everyone, Who remembers and even those who don't, Have a healthy
and happy life while bouncing back from any low times you may have experienced in your life.

I RETIRED FROM THE NEW YORK FOOTBALL CONFERENCE BACK IN 1978, AND ENJOYED RAISING MY FAMILY IN PENNSYLVANIA... DURING THE 22 YEARS THERE 1980-02, I HAD COACHED YOUTH ATHLETICS."FOOTBALL, BASEBALL, WRESTLING,"YEAR ROUND"... IN 1989, I WENT BACK TO SCHOOL AGAIN AND BECAME AN E.M.T. AN OPENED MY OWN NURSING, "PERSONAL CARE HOME". (GILE'S SUNNYSIDE PERSONAL CARE HOME) IN 1995 I WAS OFFERED TO SELL THE BUSINESS... I NOW LIVE IN FLORIDA, SINCE; 2002.
