Wayne's Story
Life
Hi Classmates. It's been a great life so far right? I'm sure we have
plenty of stories to share.
Lets make the next 35 the best!
Well, I've reamined in the area and have been
happily married now for 29 years. My
wife and I have two wonderful, grown daughters.
We still live in the East foothills. My
wife Karen (James Lick 1975) is a media
clerk with the Evergreen School District
and is happily attending to a library at
one of that district's elementary
schools.
I have continued to work in the fire
service since 1973 when I signed on
as a volunteer at the old Evergreen fire
station at Aborn Rd. @ White Rd.
I spent time doing weed abatement at the
County Fire Marhsal's office in the mid
70's. I left th...Expand for more
at position and became a
dispatcher for County Communications
where I dispatched for the San Jose Fire Department. (I
believe that was the job which took my
hair). Following 7 years in that
position, I moved to Lockheed Missiles &
Spcae Co. in Sunnyvale where I
eventually became the Fire Marshal for
the bay-area based operation. Nine years
of commute and the opportunity to
lateral over to a public fire department
led me to County Fire where I currently
am a Deputy Fire Marshal serving one of our core cities-the Town of
Los Gatos. I love my assignment and the people there.
I hope that this note finds all of you
in good spirt, health and happiness. I
look forward to seeing you all at the
upcomming barbecue.
