Wayne's Story

I tried to keep a low profile in H.S. Looking back, I may have kept it too low. It has been a long time since and you can't go back. in 1966 I went to Illinois and was employed by Winchester Ammunition. I was also a part-time deputy sheriff for 15 yrs. I had a good career and retired in 2006 w/40 yrs. I was married in 1967 and we have 2 sons w/2 grandchildren each. I had a motorcycle in H.S. and...Expand for more
still enjoy riding. 9/10/14 update: I recognize a lot of the names but the details escape me. I've tried to e-mail some that I remember very well, even back to grade school but I usually do not get a reply. For whatever reason, I understand. My one regret is that my picture is not in the 1965 yearbook due to being in the hospital for several weeks at the time pictures were being taken.

Proud of my dad this Memorial Day for his service to this country during WW 11. USCG July 1942 to October 1945. Born in 1921 passed in October 2002.
I think my mom was about 20 or 21 'when this was taken.

I had a great christmas and an have an even greater family. Thanks to my wife, sons and daughter-in-laws and to the greatest grand children of all.
