Wayne's Story
I still live in Red Deer. I am happily married to Cindy (Feil) and have two lovely daughters, Kristy and Jennifer. Kristy is a teacher here in Red Deer, married to Aaron Pinchak, a carpenter. Kristy has a ten year old daughter, Marley, and a five year old son, Jack. Jenny works at Aspire as a psychologist. Her husband, Joel, is also a teacher in Red Deer. Finlay (10), and Cohen (6). Cindy and I have both retired from teaching although Cindy is currently completing a term position as a kindergarten teacher.
The highlight of my career was a trip to Ottawa where I was presented with the Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Teaching by Prime Minister Harper.
We now spend as much time as possible with our grandkids or travelling.
