Wayne's Story

Life Lets see...Went to Baylor for a year after graduation and realized I really didn't want to go to school any more for a while. Quit and enlisted in the Navy, much to the consternation of the AF ROTC folks.Boot Camp company commander told us we should do the first 20 years to see if we liked it, so I did. Trained as a Nuclear Weapons specialist. Put them together, loaded and unloaded them, repaired them ocasionally. Worked out OK, I hardly glow in the dark anymore. Got as far north as Pt. Barrow Alaska, as far south as Hobart, Tazmania, and went around a couple of times. I got out in '81 and went back to school. Got my bach...Expand for more
elors and worked at C.S.Draper Labs as an ICBM Flight Test engineer until '92. Went back to school and got a Masters in Quality Systems and a new career field. Presently owner and chief engineer of Precision Processes Associates, a consulting group specializing in developing and improving quality systems for ISO qualified businesses. Personal Stuff: Married to classmate Mary Gambill '62 to'77. Married again in '80. Live about 30 miles south of Boston, Mass with wife Pattie, two boys (Dave-25 and Paul-22) and three cats (Onyx, Shadow and Raven). Wife finished her PhD in Psychology and works with autistic and "Fragile-X" kids.
