Wayne's Story
Life
After graduating from Beaufort High School, I joined the Air Force and was stationed at Kadena AFB Okinawa for 18 months. I then went to Shaw AFB, SC until 1975.
In August 1975 I started working for the Greenville County Sheriff's Office until I retired in July 1999. I continued to work there, part time, until 2002. My job was finding dangerous ...Expand for more
fugitives and returning them to South Carolina.
I now work for Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA where I am in charge of Executive Protection.
After 25 years, I'm still in the Air Force Reserves. I recently returned from overseas where I spent 5 months near Afghanistan in support of Enduring Freedom.
