Wayne's Story
Life as I remember it....
Left California in '71, joined the Air Force. Started out as a "Personal Equipment Specialist. Cross Trained into "Survival Training" as an instructor. Married Pat in '73, Shawna was born in '74, got divorced in '75, left the service in '76 and decided to stayed in Florida (Panama City).
Between '76 and '79 I had gone to tech school (Industrial Electronics), held down a couple of different jobs, got married (Laura) again, got divorced again, moved to Orlando, FL. Started college there in December '79 and finished in April '83 with a Bachelor in Business Degree. My major was computer programming. While attending college, I worked several part-time jobs. One of them was at the school itsself. The most fun, and best paying, was driving limos! Got to meet a few singers and bands.
When I finished college I worked for a year with a commercial waterproofing company (Ron Moss,Inc) and then left Florida, with my wife Kathy, and moved to Grand Junction, Colorado. Did the family thing, bought a house, cats, dogs, nice life. Marraige lasted the longest (8 yrs.) and then I divorced Kathy (I believe in '91) and remarried ('93? - Glenda), and divorced again in '95. In early '96, moved to Binghamton, NY, for about 7 months. Then moved to Goodland, KS, owned and ran a pool hall (5 yrs). Got married again (Charlene). Lived there 'til Sept. 2001. Now I live in Pocatello, ID and don't plan on moving anytime soon. Love the mountains and snow!
Charlene passed in September 2011. Remarried again in May 2015.

ke to hear from and she should know who she is. She was one of my best friends at the time. We had a lot of fun together (at least I thought we did!). We had a lot of the same classes, so we use to study together. We kept things on a friendship level, which was a good thing at the time. We were both married.
Don't know if she remembers the gold '65 Mustang Fastback I had, but I sold it just before I moved to Colorado. Wish I had kept it. Wish I had kept in touch with her also. I guess since both of us were married at the time, we couldn't keep in touch or it would have caused problems.
I don't remember much about anyone else there, except Mac. Worked with him in the computer room trying to get the school computers reprogrammed from COBOL to BASIC. I also remember having to teach a couple of "basic computer" classes for the school, because one of their teachers quit a couple of months early and they needed someone to take his place. Guess I did alright teaching the students what they needed to know, cause the school admin never said any different.
If I think about the school long enough, I could probably remember more of the people and the fun we had. But, like I said, it's been a long time and I don't want to strain my brain! I don't think anyone remembers me or really cares anyway. If you think you know me, just write me at wayneturner208 at msn dot com.
Charlene passed in Sept. 2011, from complications due to cancer. We spent 12 great years together.
I am currently married again (May 16, 2015) and am also fighting cancer. But the Drs. Say I have a good chance of beating it.
