Life The picture that I uploaded is in Okinawa Japan with my Mom and my Beautiful Two Girls in June 2008. Military I joined the Marine Corps in March of 1989, right after my 22nd birthday. Leaving for bootcamp April 25th. I graduated from bootcamp and was one of the first Marine Combat Training (MCT)participants. After MCT, I was sent to Memphis Tennessee where I learned how to work on the CH-46 (Phrog) Helicopter. Once complete with learning about the Phrog, I was finally sent to my first Unit (HMM-165) Helicopter Marine Medium 165 in Kaneohe Bay Hawaii. I spent 3 years in Hawaii where I participated in Desert Storm right off the bat. Most of the 9 months in Desert Storm were spent in a town called "Al Jubail" at the Airport. I spent a month or two in a town called "Tanajib" towards the end of my 9 months. In late 1992 my unit was dispatched to Okinawa Japan for 6 mths (what a great time that was);} Returning from Japan, I received orders to HMT-204 (Helicopter Marine Training unit) in Jacksonville North Carolina where as a corporal in the Marine Corps I was to keep the Helicopters flying that the student Pilots were learning to fly in (WOW! was that a pain). After 3yrs with 204, I received orders to McAlester and Muskogee Oklahoma to be a recruiter. This is where I met my ex-wife Jo (Mother of my Children).
