Wendell's Story
For those of us who grew up in the sixties, observing and enduring the transformation of every dimension of our culture, country and the world, it has been an awesome adventure.
I left BHS and joined the military; like many of my brothers and sisters, the only part of the world I actually saw was Southeast Asia. As confusing as this time was, the military provided both great role models and the discipline necessary to achieve something in life.

In retrospect, we were babies at 21 and 19 respectively. However, we grew up together; raised three great children and are enjoying all that we have built.
The GI bill afforded me the opportunity to go to school and build a career. I have worked in big companies and small; traveled all over the world; met business and world leaders and developed a reasonably fulfilling career.
I am humbled by the fact that a kid with not a lot of prospects from Waverly Square found these opportunities in this great country.
