Wendy's Story

Life Since graduating from UNC-Greensboro in 1991, I have lived in Charlotte, NC. After teaching for six years, I got a Master's Degree in School Administration. In 1999, I married my husband, Josh, and began working as an assistant principal. In 2006, we adopted our first child, James, who entered our lives when he was just a few hours old! at home with him full time. Motherhood has been an incredible journey! We also have 2 dogs--who we consider full-fledged members of the family! Besides having the golden opportunity to spend so much time with my son, being at home has given me the chance to participate and take on leadership roles in church and community organizations. It's very rewarding to be able to help and support others!
