Wendy's Story
Life
Let's see... how do I go about writing a bio about myself?? Well, I guess after High School and my attempt at college, I dove right into the corporate world of Downtown Houston. My goal was to work my way up to a corner office on the 50th floor with a great view.
Funny how things change and you end up on a completely different path. I fell in love, got married, and decided to be a mom - the most rewarding career out there, if you ask me. Now that my son is in school, I've returned to the working world - though I'm only on the 4th floor of an office building in the suburbs. But, I'm close to home, close to my son, and couldn't be happier!
My family consists of Hubby & me, my son, 3 cats, and lots of fish! I married a computer geek and gave birth to a computer phenom, so my house is full of electronics and ...Expand for more
gadgets of every kind. I'm always trying to talk "Tim the Tool Man" and his protegy into not tweeking the perfectly good, working dishwasher or stereo just because they think it needs "more power".
When not rewiring the house, we try to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. My husband is a pilot, so we like to take the plane on weekend trips discovering new little towns we wouldn't have known about otherwise.
For those of you who remember me when... don't worry - I haven't turned into a completely tame soccer mom. I'm still as freaky as ever. I still blare disco and bad eighties music every day, am still into movies and plays, dress to impress myself only, and basically scare my friends daily. Those who love me know to accept me as I am, never underestimate me, and always expect me to shock, surprise, or embarrass!
