Life
Sometimes I wonder how I got to be this old; I'm not sure when or how it happened. I've noticed that for the past 15 years, on every birthday I say, "I don't mind being this age, I just don't want to get any older." But surprise, years later I'm saying the same thing, so my conclusion is that life is good and I've got a lot to look forward to. I'm in a good place... I retired in 2004 after 30 years with IBM/AT&T. I must have done something right because I raised two great kids. My son lives in Seattle with his wife and is a high school math teacher. er moved back to the States having worked in marketing for 6 years at Legoland in Windsor, England. Working out and volunteering at a stable (in a riding therapy program for people with disabilities) are the parts of my life I enjoy the most. I've been traveling a lot the past couple of years... Denver, New Mexico, England, Paris, Buenos Aires, Rio, Turkey and Greece. I've lived in Tampa for 36 years but am ready to move on. I'm getting ready to spend 2 months in Charlotte to see if it's "THE place" for me. I'm looking forward to new adventures and challenges.
