Wendy's Story

Life Let's see, I'm almost 40 now. Wow not bad for someone who once thought "Don't trust anyone over 30". My life at this moment is pretty good. I have a wonderfull husband and 5 great kids. My kids are 2 cats, 2 dogs, and a green iguana. My husband is a real person. His name is Kenny and a met him on the carnival. We just moved into a new house (new to us) in Thornton, Colorado. My job takes up a lot of my time. I am a workaholic. During the summer when we're busy I've been known to work 60 hours a week. My third love (after my husband and work) is computers. I built the computer I'm using now from spare parts and keep Kenny's up and running. I'm addicted to the internet. Someday I'd like to be a computer tech but for now it's just a hobby. Someday, when I have the time, I'm going to build a third computer. m to play on (and leave mine alone). Workplace I started out wanting to get into real estate, but then my boss told me I couldn't get a promotion because I was too good at my job. (it would take two to replace me) so I quit and joined a carnaval. I worked on the carnavel route for close to 10 years. Carnaval in the summer and odd jobs in the winter. I've worked as a waitress, in a slaughter house, an inventory counter and one winter I just goofed off. I've sold fireworks in Louisanna and then moved to Colorado. I currently work for a rental company. We rent tables, chairs, china, tents, party equipment. I'm their order puller but my job is more then that. I get orders ready for delivery, I make deliveries (and pick/ups), I count the orders when they return, I load orders onto trucks and I've been known to take an order or two. I really like my current job, it's almost like carnaval life but without parties at night and sleeping in a camper.
