Wendy's Story
Life
After high school, I went to UofA for 4 years and studied Music Education and Musical Theatre. After my 4th year, I went to Colorado on a scholarship to the Commercial Acting and Motion Picture Academy, where I began a professional acting and singing career and in 1985, I also began dabbling in the health and fitness industry and became a certified personal trainer part time.
In 1989, I met my husband, a French native, in Los Angeles. We had two boys, Cameron, now 16 and Chandler, now 10. We moved across the country over the years living in Los Angeles, Texas and eventually resided in New Jersey. (And believe or not, it's not the armpit of America!) My acting & singing career took the back seat while I was raising my kids and my fitness career took off a bit more, doing personal training, aerobics, spinning, etc. By 1986, I owned my own personal training studio in Texas for 3 years, then went on to run fitness programs at several locations ...Expand for more
in New Jersey before taking on another business of my own. Now, I continue to own a business in New Jersey, however, I have gone back to my music roots and have been writing and producing my own cabaret acts in New York for the past 8 years. I have even taken a couple of my shows on the road back home to Arizona . This summer (2007) I'm proud to be presenting a private cabaret act specially written for my parents 50th wedding celebration.
In April 2003, my husband and I separated, and by October 2005 our divorce was final. So, now I live the life of a single mother, running a successful personal training studio, and I have even taken on a fresh career in commercial print modeling. Who knew at 43 anyone would want to take my picture!? ;-D
My life is full, adventurous, exciting and I am so blessed every day to have a roof over my head, food on my table, love and laughter on a daily basis and to be the mother of two handsome, bright talented boys.
